Job DescriptionWork Schedule: 100% FTE, 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts. Operating hours are Monday - Friday, 6:30AM - 5:00PM. Every third weekend on-call with an hour response time. You may be eligible for up to a $5,000.00 sign-on bonus. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.Pay: External hires may be eligible for up to a $5,000.00 sign on bonus. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants.Be part of something remarkableJoin the #1 hospital in Wisconsin!We are seeking a Pediatric Cardiovascular & Electrophysiology Tech to: Perform pediatric, adolescent and adult diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures. Function independently as an expert technologist in invasive cardiology who is a highly competent and clinically skilled member of the Heart and Vascular Care Procedure Center patient care team. In addition to assisting Cardiologists with the most complex procedures, you'll oversee the technical operations required for the performance of routine diagnostic through the advanced interventional electrophysiology procedures. (Includes, but not limited to: cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, nursing, paramedic or Surgical Technologist.) Required One year of Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) or Interventional Radiology experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement Required Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) Technologist training program Preferred Work Experience 1 year of Cardiovascular Technologist work experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Preferred Licenses & Certifications Basic Life Support/CPR Certification Required ACLS certification within 180 Days Required RCIS.
