Azure Architect

Relevant Experience(in Yrs) Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years specifically in Azure architecture and cloud solutionsMust Have Technical/Functional Skills - Design and implement end-to-end data solutions using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake.- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.- Design and manage scalable data lakes to support comprehensive data storage and analysis needs.- Design retention, lifecycle, archival policies for datasets- Work with Azure Data Lake Storage to efficiently store and manage large datasets.- Create and manage data models and data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics needs.- Set up and manage external tables and integrate with various data sources.- Utilize Delta Lake for optimized data storage and real-time analytics capabilities.- Develop and deploy interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI.- Utilize Azure Databricks for advanced data processing.- Optimize and manage Azure SQL databases to ensure high performance and availability.- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline development and deployment processes.- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices (eg: NIST).- Setup Azure Purview for data governance- Experience with data integration and migration from on-premises to cloud environments.- Proficiency in Python and experience with Python Notebooks.- Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer) are a plusExperience Required Experience in designing and implementing cloud data lake architectures, data migration strategiesProven ability to lead cloud data migration projectsHands-on experience in performance tuning and cost optimizationProven experience in setting up data governance using PurviewRoles & Responsibilities Design, develop, and manage Azure data lake architectures and data ETL pipelinesSetup data Governance using PurviewCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical so lutionsProvide guidance on best practices for cloud data migration and reportingEnsure security, scalability, and reliability of solutionsExperience in solutioning that meets NIST guidelinesMentor and guide junior architects and engineersGeneric Managerial Skills Strong leadership and mentoring skillsExcellent project management skillsAbility to work under tight deadlinesStrong organizational and team management skillsEducation Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fieldRelevant certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
