Our dedicated and highly trained nursing staff delivers world-class patient care through an intricate nursing care model that is rooted in evidence-based practice and always puts patients first. Our goal is that all our professional nursing caregivers provide patients with the highest quality, safest care possible.A caregiver in this position worksDay/Night Rotation, 7:00am"7:30pm or 7:00pm"7:30am. A caregiver who excels in this role will:Provide direct nursing care.Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.Administer prescribed medications and treatments.Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.Educate patients and their families.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).One year of current acute care RN experience and/or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience and/or rehab experience and/or Emergency Department (ED) experience required. Will consider military RN experience.RNs in Children's Hospital and Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation will achieve and maintain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through American Heart Association (AHA) apart from the NICU RNs who must achieve and maintain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) through American Heart Association (AHA) provider status.Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
