The Position
As we continue to grow, we are looking for Podiatrists to provide Podiatric services to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout Milwaukee, WI.
What You Will Do
As a Podiatrist, you will provide Podiatric care to Skilled Nursing residents, including but not limited to:
Assessing and diagnosing foot, ankle, and lower leg problems through physical exams, x rays, medical laboratory tests, and other methods
Provide treatment for foot, ankle, and lower leg ailments
Advise, educate, and instruct patients on foot and ankle care and on general wellness techniques to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life
Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other providers and the facility’s interdisciplinary team
Refer patients to other providers or specialists if you detect larger health problems, such as diabetes or vascular disease
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Prescribing necessary medications and treatments
Developing and implementing patient management policies and procedures
Facilitating referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Communicating with attending physicians and/or specialists regarding patient care
Be comfortable and proficient with documentation and CPT coding
Working with Vitae will provide you with:
A healthy work-life balance and flexibility. No need to work overnight shifts or weekends; however, as a Vitae provider, you can always take off days during the week and work weekends if you’d like.
High referral volume with earning potential.
Compensation
Our Podiatrists are paid a percentage of revenue – the larger your caseload and workload, the more you can earn. More details will be shared during the interview process.

Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine
Ability to build rapport with patients and their loved ones
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership experience with emphasis on teamwork in a healthcare setting
