Sr. Estimator/Preconstruction Manager

The Preconstruction Manager leads all aspects of preconstruction process from concept to groundbreaking including estimating and bidding process, coordination of work with architects, engineers, inspectors, and development of scopes of work for contracts and buyout. Guide projects through design development phase in order to maintain the budget set forth in the conceptual phaseClient DetailsOur client is seeking an experienced PreConstruction Manager to join their team in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate must be experienced in planning, estimating, and scheduling construction projects (new construction) and have strong oral and written skills.DescriptionReview project plans, specifications and program requirements to evaluate design options and work with design team to optimize building for either highest yield (market rate business line) or long term owner value (affordable business line).Manage effective value engineering exercise to reduce cost without sacrificing program/ quality or increase quality / program without increasing cost.Thoroughly review project documents (plans, specification, reports etc) for constructability, alignment with company standards, and cost effectiveness.
