Lakeside Hospital a collaboration between CHI St. Lukes Health and a team of specialized physicians focused on cardiology and interventional cardiology sports medicine orthopedics including total joint replacement and spine carein The Woodlands community. In this role, your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend.Pre-Op Nurse Role:Patience and focus to constantly support the perioperative departmentProven ability to think and react quickly while providing education and surgical related questionsProficiency with providing detailed instructions and completing all surgical consents and processesPassion for excellence in delivering quality careIf you are ready to start a career with an established team in an organization that understands the importance of your lifes calling, its time to connect with St Lukes!Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Associates Degree in Nursing (Bachelors in Nursing Preferred)Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of TexasBLS with skills demonstration1 year nursing expereince requiredExperience Desired:One (1) year of perioperative related expereince desiredTwo (2) years of Critical Care experience Perferred
