Overview:

CRNA ISign On Bonus up to $45k and Relocation up to $7500 availableSchedule: 40 Hours per weekLocation: Presbyterian Medical Center, Charlotte, NCFacility: 17 ORs, we also provide anesthesia services to 3 OB ORs, 4 Endoscopy suites, 2 Open Heart Rooms, and a wide variety of Out-of-OR Anesthesia including Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology and Cath Lab, MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Oncology, 12 more outpatient ORs specializing in peds endoscopy, dental, urology, and eye surgery as well as simple adult general outpatient procedures, eyes, and screening endoscopy.The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Level I provides professional, competent anesthesia care to a wide variety of patients, from pediatric up to geriatric population, requiring surgical, obstetrical, and other anesthesia services. In addition, the CRNA Level I utilizes skills obtained through additional training, education and/or experience in the provision of anesthesia care to patients who present with complex and unique anesthetic requirements.Works primarily at an ASC, HOPD, and/or works exclusively in an endoscopy suite. Graduate from both an Accredited School of Nursing and School of Nurse Anesthesia. Certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetist (NBCRNA) as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and recognized by the state of practice as a CRNA. Must meet minimum continuing education requirements every four years of the NBCRNA, required.Experience: Previous experience is not necessary. Four to six week orientation period for new graduates (working with preceptor) is required. Orientation period for experienced providers will depend on previous experience and clinical skills.Licensure/Certification:

Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.Current CRNA endorsement in appropriate state, required.NBCRNA certification, required.ACLS certification within NH policy, required.BLS certification within NH policy, required.PALS certification within NH policy, required.

Additional Skills (required):

Must have extensive knowledge of current anesthetic agents, techniques, drugs and equipment.Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify the anesthetic plan of care suitable to patient age.Must have considerable ability to make independent decisions, sometimes under stress, and to maintain a professional demeanor with patients, coworkers and physicians.
