General Manager - Ground Operations

They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.Responsibilities:Provide leadership and direction to a team of peopleManage operations and finances of businessRecruit and train new hires on business practicesDrive development of employeesEnsure that quality of work or service is maintainedDevelop and manage a team of skilled professionalsDevelop, implement and monitor the operational plans for our customer portfolioWork on all levels in the organization and with widely differing groups of peopleCommunicate with all Government Authorities for the compliance of aviation and local lawsResponsible for all aspects of the location budget and total oversight of the locationQualifications:Strong knowledge of the airline and international air freight industryAt least 3 years of ramp handling and strong operations experienceWell versed in the ramp aircraft operationsIn-depth communication, management and demonstrated leadership abilityProven success records in setting and achieving goals and targetsKnowledge of computer software such as MS Word/ExcelSuperior interpersonal and communication skillsGood decision making and time management skillsExperience in dealing with Local, Sales and Federal government agencies including suppliersMust have the right to live and work in the USAManagement and Customer Service experienceDemonstrated ability to leadComfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecastingStrong communications skillsAlliance Ground International is an equal opportunity employer.
