Cloud Developer Engineer
This position requires an active
TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI)
clearance.
We are seeking a mission-focused Cloud Deployment Engineer to support cloud systems engineering, administration, and maintenance for a high visibility Executive Branch customer. Your primary focus will be on leveraging Ansible to automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployment in addition to ongoing systems administration, operations, and sustainment support.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for
Cloud Developer Engineer : $140,000 to $160,000.Pay commensurate with experience.Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided.Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Cloud Developer Engineer Responsibilities Include:
Lead the implementation, operations, and sustainment of cloud solutions, ensuring they meet industry best practices and comply with FedRAMP requirements.Create Ansible playbooks to automate installation and deployment of cloud resources.Leverage Ansible for automated provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.Migrate existing workloads to cloud (Azure) environment.Manage identities, governance, storage, compute, and virtual networks in a cloud environment, ensuring efficient configuration and management.Monitor and optimize performance of cloud solutions to ensure efficient operations.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, hardware failures, network issues, and performance bottlenecks.Provide domain expertise to support the engineering, implementation, and sustainment of cloud solutions, encryption solutions, and supporting technology products in support of the organization's cloud security objectives.Create and maintain architecture diagrams and documentation for all cloud solutions.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Cloud Developer Engineer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent degree (or additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree).Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance or TS with SCI eligibility.9+ years of related experience.DoD 8570 IAT II Certification or higher (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP).Experience using Ansible for automated provisioning, configuration management, and deployment of cloud workloads (Azure environment preferred).Experience creating Ansible playbooks (YAML) for automated configuration of Azure resources.Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies & services with demonstrated hands-on experience in performing systems engineering activities in cloud environments.Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Azure CLI.Strong background in IT infrastructure fundamentals, including networking, storage, and security.Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Full-time hybrid on-site 3 days/week.Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
