Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Business Development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales and business development working with small and medium sized apparel and soft goods brands, with a proven track record of driving business growth and establishing strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive company growth and market expansion.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients, markets, and partnerships.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including designers, brands, and other manufacturing partners.

Collaborate with production teams to ensure on-time delivery of client products and services.

Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create compelling value propositions and marketing strategies.

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.

Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential clients and partners.

Represent Found Surface at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and services.

Provide leadership and mentorship to the business development team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development within the textiles and apparel manufacturing industry.

Strong network of contacts within the industry, including brands, designers, and manufacturers.

Proven ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
