Responsibilities
Job Title:
Cybersecurity Engineer III (Assessor):Duties and Experience:Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient networkAssess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategiesEnsure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructureRespond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reportsWork Location:Primary: Crane, Indiana (candidates must work on-site as needed)Travel Required:25-50% to NSWC Crane and/or Washington DC, Navy YardTravel to various CONUS and OCONUS sites may also be required
Qualifications
RequirementsEducation:Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalentExperience:10 years of professional experience with cybersecurity engineeringAdditional Requirements:Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I (position-based) per DoD 8570.1MClearance:Must have a SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance.
