ThinkCyte is headquartered in Redwood City, CA with global operations in Asia and Europe.Introduction:ThinkCyte Inc. is a startup company that developed a disruptive new technology named Ghost Cytometry (GC) which combines high-speed imaging and machine learning to analyze and sort target cells based on morphological and imaging phenotypes in high-throughput mode by flow.We are currently seeking a Field Application Scientist to support the sales of our innovative flow cytometry platform. In this highly visible role, you will drive sales activity by providing scientific support to lead scientific discussions with and conduct technical demonstrations of ThinkCyte's instruments and software to current and prospective customers. You will partner with service team members during installation and support the in-house development of ThinkCyte products and services by closely collaborating with Application Development and Product Development teams. A successful Field Application Scientist will lead with curiosity and innovation while demonstrating a strong commitment to meticulousness and excellence.Your responsibilities will include:Conduct on-site training sessions for internal team members and clients.Organize and conduct GC workshops.Represent ThinkCyte at scientific meetings and trade shows.Perform demonstrations of ThinkCyte products and software for potential customers, prepare reports, and present the data generated to prospective customers.Perform application testing of new product releases and provide feedback to internal ThinkCyte partners, including R&D, Product Development, and Marketing.Utilize CRM to accurately manage contacts and progress in targeted client activities.Qualifications include:An advanced degree in biological sciences with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in cell-based assays, flow cytometry and/or high-content cell analysis and sorting.Laboratory experience in one or more of the following is required: cell-based assay development, cellular and molecular biology, cellular immunology, cell surface and intracellular fluorescence labeling, high throughput screening.Previous sales experience, meeting revenue, and profit objectives are highly desirable.Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to organize and communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.Ability to travel 75% of the time (with some overseas travel); ability to manage a flexible schedule; located near a major airport and preferably based within a commutable distance to the Boston area.Compensation/Benefits:Base salary: $120K – $140K based on experienceEligible to participate in Company's bonus program15 days PTO401k with Company matchMedical/Dental/Vision planEligible for Stock Options
