OverviewThis position is responsible for international portfolio and relationship management as well as new business development. Leads the acquisition, management, and maintenance of relationships with international financial institutions, mainly FCI (Factors Chain International) business partners, located globally. Creates and implements the service delivery and retention strategy for the Bank's highest valued clients. Works collaboratively with various sales partners to build and manage banking relationships to ensure clients' needs are met. Ensures alignment and compliance with corporate strategy, internal policy, applicable laws, and regulations. Oversees all aspects of relationship development management, client servicing, and new business development.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Strategy

- Responsible for the efficient management of the international client factoring portfolio. Responsible for compliance with company risk appetite statement. Responsible for optimizing portfolio return while managing risk to acceptable levels.Business Support

- Responsible for the development, revision, and implementation of compliant and effective strategies, policies, standards, and procedures, as it relates to international client factoring portfolios and relationship management. Advises on strategies to ensure risks are properly identified and portfolio composition is aligned with overall Bank balance sheet and appropriate for various economic environments. Monitors changes in the economy and macroeconomic environment and advises executive management on potential opportunities to enhance shareholder return.Client Service

- Establishes, evaluates, and continuously improves the client experience and relationship management standards across the group. Establishes a client service vision/plan and communicates it across the group. Provides expert advice to associate team on client acquisition, satisfaction, and retention. Leads staff to maintain high quality international service standards through regular communications with clients via phone, email, social media, and in-person visits. Guides the team in the fostering of relationships with new and existing partners to finalize deals and keep the business with FCB.Managerial Functions

- Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to department policies, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Maximizes department achievements by providing and encouraging professional development.Sales

- Directs the acquisition and development of relationships with international financial institutions to facilitate business growth. Identifies and attends relevant and appropriate industry and regional events and trade shows for networking and new business opportunities as appropriate. Business travel required as needed to cover assigned geographic region.QualificationsBachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Financial Services, Commercial Finance OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Financial Services, Commercial Finance.Preferred Area of Experience: Factors Chain International (FCI) course certification is required within the first two years of employment. International financial services. Chinese language-Mandarin proficiency: speaking, reading, and writing skills a plus.
