Director of Partnerships

.

The Director of Partnerships will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic partnership plan to grow and diversify LACIE’s clients and partnerships. This role requires a proactive leader with strong business acumen and the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels. Additionally, the Director of Partnerships will take responsibility for overseeing the client onboarding and training of new partners with LACIE’s programs.

The Lewis and Clark Information Exchange (LACIE) a 501(c)(3) organization has been exchanging data since September of 2010, the first Health Information Exchange (HIE) to go live in Kansas or Missouri. LACIE was initially formed by Heartland Health in Saint Joseph, MO, now MOSAIC, and was given to the Greater Kansas City Community and the State of Kansas in 2013. LACIE provides patient information to prominent healthcare systems and providers across the Midwest. LACIE is committed to enhancing patient safety by eliminating obsolete, paper-based medical records, and combining patient data into a single, widely available digital record.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the development and expansion of a portfolio of LACIE partnerships in the Kansas City area.

Develop strategic plans to manage and enhance client relationships and monitor the performance of existing partnerships.

Full cycle sales, focused on small to large-size institutions or healthcare provider groups on the benefits of healthcare data exchange.

Provide regular communication with existing clients as well as onboarding and training for new partnerships.

Build and execute a strategic plan for LACIE’s continued partnerships and expansion as an HIE in the Kansas City area through value-based selling.

Identify opportunities and prioritize potential partnerships that align with strategic objectives and drive growth for the organization.

Lead negotiations and manage partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and industry influencers.

Define KPIs, track partnership performance, and prepare regular reports for LACIE board.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive activities, and new opportunities for partnerships.

Develop and manage the partnership's budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Experience in community relations, membership growth, chambers, or nonprofit development preferred.

Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to develop and execute complex partnership strategies.

Excellent negotiation and contract management skills with a track record of successful partnerships.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.

Strong communicator, both oral and written. Successful in presenting and building relationships with executives and board members.

Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets and drive business outcomes through partnerships.
