Overview:

The Finished Goods Inventory Analyst is a crucial position within our Supply Chain's Distribution and Logistics Team in our electrical transformer manufacturing company. Responsible for managing and optimizing finished goods inventory levels, analyzing distribution patterns, and ensuring product availability to meet customer demand. This role requires a professional with a solid background in inventory management, strong analytical capabilities, and an understanding of distribution logistics. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and skilled in data analysis and inventory forecasting.

Responsibilities:Monitor and manage finished goods inventory levels across multiple distribution centers to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.Analyze sales data, distribution trends, and inventory turnover to forecast inventory needs and optimize stock levels.Coordinate with sales, manufacturing, and logistics teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts and distribution plans.Implement inventory control procedures and best practices to maintain accurate and efficient management of finished goods.Utilize advanced inventory management and ERP systems to track inventory movements, perform analyses, and generate reports for management.Identify and address inventory discrepancies and issues related to distribution, warehousing, and transportation.Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve inventory accuracy, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.Support the Distribution and Logistics Team in planning and decision-making by providing insights and recommendations based on inventory data.Manage inventory-related projects and participate in cross-functional teams to improve supply chain efficiency.Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in inventory and distribution management.Occasional travel to other ERMCO sites.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field or equivalent experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field, with a focus on finished goods in a manufacturing or distribution environment.Experience with finished goods inventory management systems, ERP software, and data analysis tools.Knowledge of distribution logistics and supply chain best practices.Strong analytical and forecasting skills.Excellent organizational and project management abilities.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.A commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for optimizing logistics supply chain operations.
