Machinist

We are looking for a Machinist with experience in CNC and/or manual machining for one of our clients in Bridgeville, PA. This role is available for both the 2nd shift (3:15 pm to 11:45 pm) and the 3rd shift (11:30 pm to 7:30 am), based on candidate availability or preference.

• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual lathes and mills efficiently, working with various turned parts and castings.
• Read and interpret drawings, applying both conventional and geometric tolerances.
• Adjust machining speeds and feeds to optimize productivity.
• Machine parts to tight tolerances (.001”), ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Operate and machine parts as required according to drawing specifications.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with metal cutting using CNC or manual machines.
• Proficiency in measuring tolerances using tools like micrometers, calipers, and tri-mics.
• Ability to work either the 2nd or 3rd shift.
• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with the layout and setup of castings and raw materials.
• Ability to read and follow route sheets and blueprints.
