As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Tolleson, AZ.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team and contribute to the ongoing success of our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

  2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely and efficient manner to minimize disruptions to production.

  3. Machine Installation: Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new manufacturing equipment to meet production requirements.

  4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, adjustments, and preventive measures, using our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

  5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, actively participate in safety meetings, and contribute to the development of a safe working environment.

  6. Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, providing valuable input to enhance overall equipment effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in mechanical or electrical maintenance is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the mattress industry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of machinery.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
