Squad Leader, Fidelity Medicare Services

The\u00A0Role

Fidelity s Healthcare Group has launched a new Medicare business that helps individuals select and enroll in quality Medicare coverage. As an early member of this new and innovative team, you will have the opportunity to help build and grow a business that could impact millions of individuals!

Our Squad Leaders are collaborative business leaders who have a passion for helping people solve complex problems in the health care space.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Collaborate with design and research to build digital experiences to help our customers navigate complex health care decisions

  • Create and own OKPI s to measure and track business value

  • Lead a team of engineers without formal authority to build products and features to help our customers

  • Enable our partners in sales, service, and operations to successfully adopt the features you build through documentation and training

  • Work with our Product Area Leader and stakeholders from UXD, dev, sales, ops and channel management to develop a 3-12 month roadmap for your Squad

  • Solicit feedback from impacted stakeholders (in forums like Demo and others) to ensure solutions meet user needs

  • Cultivate a continuous learning and improvement environment by routinely partnering with Squad members and Chapter Leaders to align on resourcing needs, skills development, and learning opportunities that will enable Squad members to grow and thrive

  • Partner with our Senior Leadership team to build and grow a new Fidelity business that could impact millions of individuals!

  • You are customer obsessed and committed to continuously deepening your understanding of the client & associate experience

  • Experience in the Medicare or health insurance industry nice to have

  • You take a data-focused approach to understanding customer needs, translate strategic objectives into action, and prioritize to improve value delivered

  • You have experience with Agile methodology, practices and processes, and have used collaboration tools, such as JIRA, Mural, Confluence or MS Teams.

  • You identify, communicate and remove impediments to progress

  • You are capable of leading, influencing, and motivating colleagues without formal authority, and have a track record of building high-performing teams

  • You are familiar with design thinking and utilize the mindsets of human-centered design to make empathetic business decisions

Fidelity's working model

blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
