QC Analyst - Sample Management

Work for a well-regarded biotechnology company in Rensselaer, NY as a QC Analyst - Sample Management! This position is a

one-year contract

with potential for extension or permanent hire. A great way to start your career!

What you need to know:

Starting Pay: $23-25/hr.

Shifts available:

Sunday - Wednesday; 6:00am-4:30pm

Sunday - Wednesday; 1pm-11:30pm

Saturday -Wednesday; 10pm - 8:30am

100% Onsite role

 What you need to apply:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field desired; will substitute relevant experience in lieu of degree 
• Lab or SOP Experience a plus!

A typical day as a QC Analyst - Sample Management might include:

• Receiving samples and documents transactions thoroughly in Laboratory Information System (LIMS)
• Delivering samples to QC lab for testing as required
• Performing Sample Management tests
• Ensuring compliance with SOP's
• Reporting any quality or other anomalies through Deviation Notification and Resolution
• Complying with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements
• Writing and revising controlled SOPS and Work Instructions as directed
• Completing submission records and reviews data
• Interacting with outside customers or functional peer groups
• Being responsible for maintaining a specific project
• Performing shipping of samples as per requests
• Performing sample disposal, sample inventory, and temperature checks as required
