HR & Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR/Payroll Specialist to join our team in Davie, FL. This role will manage payroll for 100 employees, ensure HR compliance, handle 401(k) reporting, and oversee insurance benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for 100 employees, ensuring accuracy in payments, deductions, and adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with certified payroll requirements and federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Manage 401(k) contributions and reporting.
  • Administer employee insurance benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Utilize payroll software to manage employee records and generate reports (familiarity with Paycom is a plus).
  • Maintain organized payroll and employee records.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience processing payroll for 100+ employees, including contract employees, ideally within the construction industry.
  • Experience managing HR duties for 100+ employees, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA).
  • Strong understanding of payroll procedures, HR compliance, and benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with payroll software; experience with Paycom is a bonus.
  • High attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is highly advantageous.
  • Reliable transportation is needed
