• The role involves developing a migration strategy for secret management, working with application development teams, and ensuring secure utilization of secrets within applications.
• The ideal candidate should have a technical background, experience in secrets management, and the ability to lead the direction of secret management tools.
• Requires collaboration with other architects, application development teams, and enterprise data security teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Work independently with developers, system/network administrators, product owners, and other colleagues to ensure secure design, development, and implementation of applications and networks
• Perform security architecture design reviews of our products (primarily cloud)
• Supply remediation guidance and recommendations to developers and administrators
• Create reference and use case architecture documentation
• Work with Product Development teams to help prioritize and validate urgency of mitigation of identified product vulnerabilities and security feature enhancement requests
• Define security best practices and standards and ensure Product Development teams understand them and receive pertinent annual secure coding training
• Mentor junior security engineers and architects to enhance their cybersecurity and architecture skills
• Maintain professional and technical process knowledge by keeping abreast of the changing security landscape within the technology industry and changes in cybersecurity frameworks
• Create white papers and present in industry conferences to display thought leadership in the security field
• Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately do not edit this bullet
