Job Description:

The Role

The SVP, Digital Infrastructure will report to the Chief Investment Officer, Devonshire Investors and will be particularly focused on digital infrastructure. The platform continues to grow and is seeking additional resources to support the current portfolio and source new investments and expansions for existing platforms. Primary responsibilities will include: (1) supporting strategic growth initiatives, (2) analyzing potential investments, (3) overseeing portfolio holdings, and (4) managing certain fund-level operational duties. Prior experience in digital infrastructure investing is a requirement (fiber, data center, wireless, tower, network hardware).

  • Support strategic growth initiatives.

  • Evaluate long term options to expand existing platforms.

  • Further the platform s network among institutionally scaled family office investors.

  • Analyze potential investments.

  • Lead analysis of new and incremental investments.

  • Lead financial modeling and returns analyses.

  • Compile investment presentations and memoranda to present to Investment Committee.

  • Monitoring Industry and Technology Trends.

  • Identifying new technologies with investment opportunities.

  • Articulating potential impact of changes in technology on existing investments.

  • Portfolio Oversight.

  • Lead oversight of select portfolio investments including participation in select board and management meetings.

  • Fund Operations.

  • In conjunction with the Managing Director, support certain fund-level responsibilities relating to internal shared service providers in treasury, finance, risk, compliance, etc.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 10-15 years as associate/VP/Principal at a family office, or institutional office direct investment platform

  • Experience with the digital infrastructure investment sector (fiber, tower, data center, network hardware)

  • A proven track record of delivering results and demonstrating impact

  • A strong attention to detail and solid business perspective

  • Demonstration of urgency and ownership of executing on the day-to-day

  • Gravitas to interact with portfolio company management, investment partners and senior executives

  • Solid analytical and quantitative skills with strong attention to detail\u00A0

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Intelligent, analytical, collaborative, self-aware and comfortable with ambiguity

  • BA/BS degree with CFA or MBA preferred

  • Location:\u00A0 Boston, Massachusetts

  • Travel:\u00A0 Approximately 25% of time
