Job Summary
The Talent & Engagement Analyst is responsible for assisting with the set-up and on-going administration of Medline’s Employee Listening Strategy. The primary responsibilities include administrative, technical, and analytical support for all event and life-cycle based survey including Global Employee Engagement, Pulse, Managerial Effectiveness, Onboarding, Anniversary, Job Change and Exit surveys. The role is further responsible for assisting the Workforce Planning & Analytics team in fostering strong partnerships with internal stakeholder groups through the delivery of analytic tools, insights and consultative support.
Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Life Cycle Based Listening: Perform set-up, maintenance and administration of Medline’s on-going life cycle surveys, which includes the 1) Onboarding, 2) Job Anniversary, 3) Job Change and 4) Exit surveys.
Event Based Listening:Assist the coordination, management and administration of the annual event based surveys, including 1) Global Employee Engagement, 2) Global Employee Pulse and 3) Managerial Effectiveness surveys.
Vendor Management: Assist in the establishment and execution of survey based activities with our third party vendor, including design, system set-up, testing and maintenance of our survey administration platform.
Data Analysis
- Aide in the preparation and analysis of data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement, including the summarization and presentation of key insights and findings.
Project Management: Provide support in the planning, organization and execution of pre and post survey administration activities. This also includes taking on ad-hoc projects in support of the Workforce Planning & Analytics team.
Reporting: Assist with the development, creation and maintenance of reports, scorecards and dashboards. Explore and innovate on the methods for delivering insights into the organization.
Consultative Support: Provide basic support to internal stakeholder groups including business unit leadership, Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) and Centers of Excellence (HR COEs). This includes, but is not limited to, key customer groups including Compliance, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Employee Relations and Learning & Development.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a relevant quantitative or research field
Work Experience:
At least 2 years of experience with survey design and administration within Human Resources or research related fields.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Functional Expertise:
Survey design
End-to-end survey administration
Structured and unstructured data analysis
Experience with culture and engagement assessments
Knowledge of HR metrics/standards and experience creating high impact, meaningful reports/dashboards.
Technical Skills:
Basic statistics (e.g. descriptive and inferential)
Human Capital Management systems and data
Data manipulation, categorization and quality checks
Advanced experience with Microsoft Suite, including Access, Excel PowerPoint and Word

Work Experience:
Prior experience with Perceptyx (3rd Party Survey Vendor)
Prior experience with Workday data and reporting
Data extraction (e.g., SQL)
Data analysis software (e.g., R, JMP)
Experience providing analytical or consulting support to HR and business leaders and/or COEs
