Our California Active Consulting team in LA County, CA is currently recruiting for a Training and Data Coordinator to coordinate with and assist providers of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities/Behavioral Health (IDD/BH) services in Regional Center’s provider network who support persons with IDD in crisis and at high risk of disruptions in placement. The Training and Data Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining all program data and outcomes measurements for the Active Consulting team and assist the Program Director in data analysis and reporting as required for contract deliverables.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Assist team members with maintenance of written and electronic documentation and data according to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain system of tracking all referrals, training participants, and surveys in a timely manner.
  • Assign Client IDs and communicate assignments to team members.
  • Organize team members’ and external consultants’ training schedules, securing resources for training (location, print materials, equipment) and facilitate delivery to providers and community members, as needed.
  • Contribute to content development and ensure a professional and consistent appearance of all training material.
  • Contribute to process and policy development for IDD and BH providers in areas of expertise.
  • Participate during provider consultation meetings by reporting assessment results and offering rationale for best practice recommendations in areas of expertise.
  • Establish formal and informal collaboration with project stakeholders regarding training initiatives and project outcome measurement.
  • Respond in a timely manner to all requests for data reporting related to project activities and outcome measures.
  • Collaborate with and regularly update Director and other members of Active Consulting team on scheduled training and provider support activities.
  • Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation to supervisor or department director and to appropriate state authorities as required by state rules and regulations.
  • Comply with all organization standards to assure the health, safety, and confidentiality of all individuals.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of California Division of Developmental Services (DDS) and Department of Mental Health Services (MHSD);
  • Knowledge of Regional Center’s policies, procedures and operations;
  • Knowledge of health care privacy and confidentiality rules;
  • Knowledge of current best practice approaches in training of clinical and front line support staff;
  • Knowledge of data based outcomes measurement and project management.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree an accredited college or university;
  • Experience developing or coordinating a training program in business, education or public agency setting;
  • Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Ability to use project management software applications

Preferred:

  • Fluent bilingual speaker in one or more of the following languages: (English/Spanish; English/Mandarin; English/Korean; English/Tagalog).
