Additional Information you would like to add: This position will be responsible for daily stats and productivity, as well as some month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
SPECIFIC E LEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for routine daily /weekly/monthly statistical tracking to facilitate financial discussions and analyses.
- Build and maintain close working relationships with operations departments to assess and report performance.
- Analyze variances to budget and historical trends.
- Develop ad hoc reports to evaluate service lines and margins across operational units .
- Assist CFO and ACFO in the analysis of productivity related projects .
- Gather data and perform analysis on performance improvement , strategic business analysis, contract utilization and cost management .
- Support revenue enhancement projects .
- Prepare Monthly Operating Report for analysis of net revenue, operating expenses and statistical data .
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for b usiness p lans, f inancial p roforma, a nnual b udget, and b oard meetings.
- Design reports that communicate performance, identify issues, and contribute to better management decisions .
- Reconcile specific Balance Sheet accounts monthly.
- Prepare reclass and accrual entries monthly .
- Assist in completion of annual tax and cost report workpapers.
- Other duties as assigned by Controller / Assistant Controller.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, personal initiative and motivation to achieve the goals of the department .
EDUCATION
Bachelors degree with focus in Accounting, Finance, Economics or an other Business-related field, required.
Equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement .
EXPERIENCE
1 or more years of experience in relevant financial analysis preferred.
Advanced Excel skills preferred .
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail required.
Knowledge of healthcare accounting and operations is helpful.
