Pay Rate: 31.01/hr

Contract to hire

Shift Time: 2nd Shift - 2pm to 10:30pm
Pay Rate: 31.01/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, conduit, and control devices for machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in machinery, equipment, and systems. Use electrical testing instruments to identify issues and determine solutions.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent future breakdowns.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing electrical work. Ensure that all electrical systems meet local and national codes.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, maintenance work, and any modifications made to equipment or systems.
• Work closely with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve the efficiency of operations.
• Assist in the installation of new electrical systems and upgrades to existing systems as required.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime and production losses.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent technical training preferred.
• Valid electrician's license or certification as required by local regulations.
• Proven experience as an electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in electrical work.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy tools and equipment.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces and heights.

Work Environment:

• Working in a industrial setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
