We're looking for a meticulous Quality Inspector like you to join our team and help us maintain our commitment to excellence. At our company, you'll play a crucial role in inspecting and testing products, materials, and processes throughout the production process.
Your Role and Impact:

• Inspection and Testing: You'll conduct thorough inspections and tests on products, materials, and processes at various stages of production to ensure they meet our high-quality standards.
• Expert Interpretation: Use your skills to read and interpret part drawings and utilize hand gages, such as thread gages, pin gages, calipers, bore micrometers, micrometers, height gages, and optical comparators.
• Quality Assurance: Perform receiving inspections and process audits, handle non-conforming materials, and work closely with production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
• Documentation: Accurately document your inspection results and maintain detailed records for future reference.
• ISO 9001 Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 processes and procedures, contributing to our continuous improvement efforts.

• At least 2 years of experience as an inspector within the metal or plastics industries.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting part drawings.
• Experience with hand gages and performing gage calibration.
• Familiarity with PPAP processes.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, PDF, etc.
• Bonus Points: Knowledge and experience in using and programming MicroVu, a working knowledge of gage calibration, and some experience with the PPAP process.
