Security Receptionist

The RoleThe Security Receptionist conducts general front desk customer facing duties, such as answer general customer inquiries, create/issue badge and other duties required by management. This position is a standard hours Monday through Friday schedule (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM).
The Expertise and Skills You Bring- Previous security experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to work without direct supervision
- Excellent organizational ability
- PC literacy including Word for Windows & Excel (or willingness to learn)
- Answer the phone and provide assistance as necessary or transfer calls to the appropriate office
- Provide assistance and direction to all persons requiring access to the building
- Create new hire and replacement badges
- Issue temporary badges to visitors, contractors, and temporary employees
- Assist Security Officers with the identification card, fingerprinting and I9 completion process
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of the visitor’s log and files as needed.
- Other duties required by management
