Test Maintenance Technician

The Emission Laboratory is seeking an individual with analytical and sampling system repair experience to join our team

The prospective individual will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, quality control and unscheduled maintenance, and repair of emission systems within laboratory

The prospective candidate should have dynamometer/chassis test and /or analytical & sampling system repair experience. 

The position duties will include:

• Test Site Maintenance

• Execute Preventive Maintenance and Site Repairs on a regular basis

• Assist vendor support when warranted

• Inventory consumables & spare parts necessary to maintain the operation

• Maintain daily site status log

• Support a three shift operation

• Support power-train emissions development, U.S

Certification, Homologation, & Vehicle Engineering (VE) problem resolution

• Support the development of new equipment / test methodologies required to meet new emissions and fuel economy requirements

• Additional assignments as necessary to deliver corporate objectives

• Cross-function as required within multiple laboratories

Basic Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED

• 1 years of experience in emission laboratory maintenance and site repair

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge of basic chemistry

• Proven experience with data analysis

• Knowledge of analytical & sampling systems

• Knowledge of diesel testing process

• Ability to analyze and solve system issues.

• Proven power-train experience

• Motivated/Self starter

• Excellent organizational skills

• Should have ability to adjust to changing requirements
