Database Developer

Role: Database Developer
Client: Banking/Financial
Location: Pennington, NJ and Pittsburgh, PA - Onsite 2-3 days per week

Description:

• Full understanding of relational database modelling
• Strong hands-on experience in in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development in 11g and 12c environments
• Analyze user requirements and translate into database requirements and implement in database code
• Knowledge in writing packages/procedures
• Create and maintain SQL queries and routines, work with complex data models and object relational database mapping, while producing complex reports
• Need to be able to optimize, tune and troubleshoot SQL code

Responsibilities:

• Person is going to work on developing IT asset management solutions to support public cloud solutions
• Database development role
• Going to be responsible for maintaining and developing new database features
• Looking for exp in database modeling, able to create tables, primary keys.
• Writing PL SQL codes, procedures, oracle packages to support transformation and load in data models
• Proven PL SQL experience and data modelling.
• Understanding the design of how the software is push down to the virtual servers
• Understand the terminology how those software packages are classified
• Hacker rank test needed
• 5-7 years of experience, self-starter can work independently based on requirements
• Worked in agile environment, understanding of using JIRA tickets

Top Skills:

• Strong PL SQL skills
• Strong Procedure exp
• Create Oracle PL SQL objects, oracle packages.
• Oracle Database preferably 11g & 12c
• Data modelling
