HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Creative Development 60%:
Create unique and emotional art that is brand appropriate and capable of being manufactured, with direction from manager as needed.
Develop gender and age specific art that displays originality in print/pattern
Research trend to bring newness and fresh ideas to concept
Work with manager and team to understand feedback and edit designs appropriately
Process & Calendar 20%:
Work efficiently to meet deadlines and follow through on all projects
Follow and support all established procedures within Art Department
Cross Functional Meetings & Collaboration 15%:
Attend hindsight and sample review meetings to gain insight on selling and production capabilities
Work with Graphics, Design and Merchandising teams to develop cohesive line point of view
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:
Must have a portfolio
Degree in Illustration, Fabric/Textile Design, or related field required
Basic knowledge of color and trends, with the ability to apply that to art
Basic understanding of techniques and materials for fabric printing and graphic execution
Ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task and remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.2 GPA or higher strongly preferred) at time of graduation
Required to have graduated within 6 months of class start date
Must be able to start in the role full-time by June 2025
Preferred skills and experience:
Possess strong working knowledge of Illustrator & Photoshop, basic color and layout skills as demonstrated through a portfolio of work
Internship in Apparel Graphics or CAD Design preferred
Possess strong communication skills, display a high level of professionalism with team members, and positive attitude
Display organizational skills and attention to detail
