As a Senior Learning Designer, you will apply instructional design best practices to develop and maintain computer-based and instructor-led training content for our client.As a member of the Consulting organization, you are responsible for ensuring that a quality, integrated software solution is delivered in a timely manner and to our client's satisfaction. This involves working closely with the client to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure delivery.Minimum Qualifications:6 years of experience relevant to this position. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to make independent judgments as the job duties are varied and complex. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.Key Responsibilities:Needs Analysis:

Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and write objectives. Analyze course materials across training programs to ensure learning levels cascade appropriately.Curriculum and Content Development:

Design and develop instructional materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, and multimedia content. Create engaging eLearning modules, videos, simulations, and other educational tools. Identify course learning outcomes and write learning objectives.Instructional Design:

Apply instructional design models (ADDIE) to create effective learning experiences. Design assessments and evaluations to measure learning outcomes. Ensure content is accessible, learning-centered, and aligned with learning objectives. Utilize authoring tools (e.g. Articulate, Captivate) and learning management systems to deploy content. Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate them into instructional design.Technical Writing:

Translate complex information into concise user-friendly content. Structure content logically with consistent use of terminology, adhering to established style guides and templates. Review and revise content for accuracy, readability, and grammatical correctness.Project Management:

Collaborate as a learning designer on an AGILE Scrum team. Contribute to story point estimation and sprint planning meetings. Lead small groups and projects. Coordinate multiple projects at once.Problem Solving:

Utilize critical thinking skills and independent judgment to resolve complex learning design and technical issues.Stakeholder Communication:

Maintain open and clear communication channels with stakeholders, ensuring alignment between the team’s work and project objectives.Coach and Mentor:

Provide guidance and coaching to team members on instructional design best practices.Basic Qualifications:At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:At least 1 year human resources work experience and/or other learning/adult education work experience, including instructional design, training facilitation, and/or learning consultation.At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, Education, Health Care, Instructional Design, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.Experience as an Instructional Designer in a similar role, preferably in the context of healthcare and federal contracts.Experience working with subject matter experts to identify learning outcomes and write objectives.Strong knowledge of adult learning principles.Excellent communication and people skills.Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience using Oracle Health Millennium Platform, formerly known as Cerner Millennium solutions.Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.Experience creating computer-based training content using Adobe Captivate.Experience with accessibility standards and guidelines, including Section 508 and WCAG 2.0.Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations. Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets.Disclaimer:
