Job Function Summary:The Ostomy Care Territory Manager is responsible for achieving territory sales objectives through selling activities which include cultivating business partnerships with key decision makers, product in-services, driving market share and sales growth. The Territory Manager will target acute care customers by selling and servicing Coloplast's portfolio of Ostomy Care product lines.

Major Areas of Accountability:Business Acumen:

Effectively engage all targeted accounts and develop a clear plan to achieve territory sales objectives.

Develop and implement strategies to maximize territory objectives, analyzing key sales and marketing data.

Understand customer's environment, including key decision makers, their issues, challenges, and opportunities for Coloplast.

Ensure timely advancement of the sale process with all targeted accounts.

Understand Financial Business Models and conduct cost/benefit analysis.

Selling Skills:

Demonstrate consultative selling skills to uncover customer strategy and present value propositions.

Plan daily call routines to ensure appropriate coverage of key accounts.

Utilize available tools to maximize sales growth.

Be knowledgeable of competitive activity and sales volume in targeted accounts.

Relationship Building:

Retain and grow business within current customer base by identifying opportunities.

Develop and maintain long-term relationships that lead to increased product usage.

Maintain productive cross-functional relationships to share knowledge.

Clinical Knowledge and Self Development:

Have a clear understanding of clinical and technical product knowledge.

Strong understanding of competitive activity and current market trends.

Attend industry-related meetings/events for business development opportunities.

Administrative:

Organize and manage information utilizing CRM tools.

Maintain current records and administrative duties, including sales reporting.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required.

Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience in the medical field preferred.

Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight -- 25% - 50%.

Completion of credentialing requirements for healthcare facilities.

Possess a valid driver's license.

Conduct business to the highest ethical and professional standards.
