Job Summary:

The Microsoft Technology Evangelist role is a cross-functional role that combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of market demand and customer needs. This role is pivotal in creating and developing solutions aligned with Microsoft solution plays. The Evangelist will collaborate across various groups within BDO to develop core solution offerings and support marketing, sales, and partner teams in bringing these solutions to market. Additionally, the role involves working closely with Microsoft to understand their needs and requirements, ensuring that BDO's offerings are aligned with the latest advancements and customer expectations.

Job Duties:
  • Demonstrates and maintains an understanding of the Microsoft technology roadmaps
  • Attends regular webinars, partner sessions, ongoing education, and read industry thought leadership material such as Gartner, Forrester to ensure continuous Microsoft solution alignment
  • Works with BDO practice leaders to understand BDO Digital's capabilities and core service offerings
  • Maps Microsoft solution plays to BDO Digital's cross functional capabilities and service offerings
  • Creates BDO Digital Microsoft solution offers that leverage programs and funding mechanisms
  • Develops a customer value proposition for each service offer
  • Understands market and customer demand to inform offer development
  • Maintains alignment with Microsoft solution teams to understand technology advancements, roadmaps and changes
  • Collaborates with internal Microsoft partner team for aligned partner strategy
  • Collaborates between BDO cross-functional teams to support creation of service offers and bringing to market
  • Creates and publishes Microsoft Azure marketplace offers
  • Works to enable BDO practice and sales teams with the sales approach and selling position to support pipeline creation

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred

Experience:
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience creating IT service offerings for clients within Microsoft solutions, required
  • Three (3) or more years of experience working with various products within the Microsoft Security or Microsoft Azure ecosystem, required
  • Demonstrated history of working directly with Microsoft and/or Microsoft Product Offerings, required
  • Three (3) or more years working in consulting services environment, preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft funding programs, preferred

Software:
  • Experience with one or more of the following, required:
    • Microsoft Azure and Azure Products
    • Microsoft Security Protocols and Service Offerings

Other Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft products and services
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of an organization
  • High degree of initiative, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to adapt BDO messaging to Microsoft professionals while driving the BDO value proposition
  • Understands aligned goals & metrics and strives to achieve them
  • Ability to thoughtfully and positively manage change
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to understand and communicate BDO's business, marketplace, and value proposition
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel to participate in events or sales calls or attend regional or national meetings, as necessary

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

National Range: $175,000 - $215,000

NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $175,000 - $215,000
