Job Title: RN Post-Anesthesia Care (PACU) Location: Shiprock, NM 87420 Duration: 6 to 12+ months Start Date: November 2024 Shift Schedule: 8 to 12 hrs/day Qualification: Education: BSN / ASN License: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in any State of USA Certifications: BLS, ACLS Experience: Shall have thirty-six {36) months of nursing experience, with a minimum of two (2) years in the PACU. Driver's License Immunization Copies Responsibilities: Monitoring post-operative patients' levels of consciousness during recovery from anesthesia. Measuring and recording patients' vital signs. Closely observing patients for signs of side effects of anesthesia medication. Treating pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms of anesthesia. Updating charts, patient files, and medical records. Collaborating with the medical team on post-operative patient care and facilitating timely specialized interventions.
