Job Description:

The Role

Do you want to make a difference in our customers' lives and be part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional team committed to improving the value of our platform offering within Fidelity Capital Markets (FCM)? We are looking for a Product Platform Manager who will provide our FCM businesses and Finance teams with analytics, metrics, and data solutions they require for decision support of their products and services. You will design and deliver high quality analytics dashboards and reports by leveraging technical expertise and a fundamental understanding of brokerage business model objectives and priorities. You will have regular interactions with the trading, sales, account managers, product managers, and operations groups. You will work collaboratively across Fidelity in support of Finance, Compliance, Risk Management, Audit and Regulatory data requirements. You will coordinate and manage technology deliverables ensuring timely and accurate delivery of critical business information via the in-house FCMONE portal and TABLEAU Analytics and reporting platforms.

  • The Product Platform Manager provides a range of FCMONE application support and reporting functions to the business line and supporting groups within FCM in the pursuit of superior data metrics delivery.
  • Aptitude for understanding complex (and changing) workflows and brokerage functions is a key asset in data delivery.
  • Decisive and creative approaches when solving business problems and needs that are consistent with policies, procedures, and data governance standards.
  • Acting as a key change agent by identifying and acting on opportunities for automation, streamlining business processes, and more efficient workflows.
  • Realization that decisions can have a significant impact on customer (internal) satisfaction and overall (perceived) client service.


The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree, or related trading, operations, sales or underwriting products and services experience
  • Knowledge of databases, financial analysis, query management and published reporting tools is strongly desired
  • Familiarity with Agile project life cycle methodologies (business requirements, use cases, JIRA stories, user acceptance testing, quality release delivery)
  • FINRA Brokerage licenses 7, 63 are a plus and not required for job role
  • General understanding of systems / platform dependencies, problem solving and aptitude for learning new technology a plus
  • Emerging ability to perform data analysis on brokerage and interest related products and services
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic trading floor environment and deliver on crucial deadlines.
  • Possess clear, concise, and confident communication and presentation skills


The Team

This dynamic team of highly skilled product platform managers business are part of the FCM Trading and Operations group within Capital Markets. We support and interface with both internal and external business segments within Fidelity Institutional (FI) and Fidelity Management Research (FMR). Our primary internal FCM customers are: Prime Services, Securities Finance, Fixed Income, Equities, Forex, Equity Origination, and Fidelity Agency Lending. All of the client and product revenue attribution are produced and supported by our team of six. The product landscape is every changing and the data analytics and metrics to make informed and insightful decisions are made possible by our Oracle data platform called FCMOne. Our team are the product owners of Data Metrics and Drivers, the Client and Business Process Management Portal - FCMOne, and the interactive dashboard reporting platform powered by Tableau.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
