The Job Details are as follows:An integral position with our Customer Operations division, the Senior Implementation Project Manager helps libraries reach success with OCLC's products and services. The position works directly with library staff (virtually and onsite) to help partners adopt new workflows.An integral position with our Customer Operations division, the Senior Implementation Manager ensures libraries reach success with OCLC's products and services, such as OCLC Wise, WorldShare Management Services, Tipasa, WorldShare ILL, WorldCat Discovery, Hosted EZproxy, and others in our future. The position consistently works directly with and for libraries and their staffs (virtually and onsite) to help them forge and adopt new workflows. A candidate for this job must have strong presentation and consultative skills to assist and influence libraries in choosing new policies, and best practices, and to help them manage the change that often accompanies rolling out and moving to new or different ways of managing library operations and the programs they offer to their patrons or users.

Responsibility:

On a day-to-day basis, the Senior Implementation Project Manager:Manages product implementations for libraries with clear and timely communicationConducts virtual and onsite workflow inventories and analysis with libraries to propose and present operational practices, recommend service options, and assist libraries to make decisions regarding the migrations of data and integrations of new software and tools into their workflowsReviews, revises, and builds library implementation programs, as assigned or proposedCoordinates with Order Services, Training, Documentation, and Support teams to ensure that a library smoothly transitions from sales to implementation and implementation to ongoing supportCollects, analyzes, and reports library satisfaction data related to implementation programsRe-engages with implemented or migrated libraries, as needed, to assess service satisfaction or complete work that was deferred until the libraries were operational for a period of timeTracks, monitors, manages, and reports on planned and in-progress projects for which he/she is the assigned OCLC resourceRecords and reports project hours on a timely basis to inform OCLC Customer Operations metricsOther Responsibilities:

Design, develop, deploy, deliver, and refine implementation programs for libraries.Manage projects for libraries with clear communication on scope, time, and resources.Configure service options and manage migrations of bib, item, circulation, and patron data.Provide consultative services to OCLC member libraries, including workflow analysis and recommendations.Travel to OCLC member libraries to provide onsite consultative services, including workflow analysis and recommendations.Requirements:

Masters of Library Science Degree (MLS, MLIS).Experience managing projects and programs.Experience leading programs and projects that have resulted in successful outcomes.Experience working collaboratively with colleagues and peers.Superior communication skills, both written and oral.Ability to think critically to solve problems.Ability to proactively identify problems and opportunities and act upon them.Spanish languages (speaking) desired.Desired but not required:

Experience managing technical applications and protocols for libraries, including but not limited to user authentication and SQL.Experience configuring EZproxy to work with third party authentication systems (CAS, LDAP, Shibboleth, and similar).
