The New Product Engineer (NPE) Data Entry Clerk is an essential role and responsible for supporting the engineering team by performing data entry tasks across various software programs, including a project management tool. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely data management to facilitate project execution and product development. In part with the tasks defined, the engineering technician will also be required to work on other delegated tasks as requested by the NPE Manager. Job tasks will include reviewing all project submissions, confirming accuracy, watching for and meeting project timelines, final art quality reviews, and data entry into the company tracking and ERP systems. This data is crucial and is used cross-departmentally until the final production and packaging/shipment stages.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Entry: Accurately enter and update data within multiple in-house software programs, including project management systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
Project Support and Time Management: Assist in tracking multiple projects' progress to ensure that each project is maintained within the expected guidelines as well as completed within the assigned timeline(s). Assist in supporting all Standard Operating Procedures are maintained and well documented.
Collaborations: Work closely with other departments to gather and input all necessary data.
Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity and consistency across all platforms. Help identify and document trends and inconsistencies to provide recommendations regarding workflow and system enhancements.
Technical Support: Project technical assistance to team members regarding data entry processes and software usage.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of more efficient data management practices.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems and software.
• Medium proficiency required in Microsoft & Google Software (ex: Excel, Word, Google Docs, & PowerPoint)
• EPICOR and MONDAY.COM experience a plus.
• Efficient in managing diverse tasks, activities, and projects, often within inflexible deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Effective time management skills and can take direction.
• Must be a quick learner.
EDUCATION:
• High School Graduate or College Student with relevant work experience. Training is available.
EXPERIENCE:
• Comfortable under pressure in a fast-paced, high energy environment.
• Works well alone or in a team environment.
• A proven track record proving responsible and reliable.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Provide 3 Personal & 3 Business References upon requests.

Salary Description
$16.50 to $18.00 / hourly
