Job Summary:

Position Summary

Sr. SAP Basis Administrators responsible for the trouble-free operation of the SAP systems' landscape, ensuring performance is within acceptable, predefined thresholds.

* Monitor the different systems and their interactions to detect any errors in operation that could impact business processes:

o Conduct data replication via SAP SLT between S/4HANA and HANA DB.o Ensure integration connectivity between SAP Cloud Platform Integration and backend system S/4HANA through SAP Cloud Connector and corresponding SAP Web Dispatcher takes place without errors.o Complete batch job processes that are triggered from Active Batch Scheduler ABS (standard CF batch tool) to all SAP connected systems: S/4HANA, SAP BODS, SAP Solution Manager, SAP SLT and file operation jobs related to business processes and integrations in SAP.o Check for errors within the different SAP systems by checking system logs (SM21), system dumps (ST22), failed synchronous and asynchronous communications via RFC (SMQS, SMQ1, SMQ2)

* Conduct weekly review with SAP ECS (Enterprise Cloud Services) of all SAP detected system vulnerabilities and address them by coordinating the patching or upgrade of servers' operating systems, databases, and/or applications.

* Coordinate and actively participate in ongoing projects and day to day SAP related tasks:

o Configure new systems' functionalities, including activation of SICF and OData services to enable required Fiori Applications and/or new modules within SAP systems to be used.o Ensure 100% compliance with all IT SOX controls including change management and SAP transport control via SAP ChaRM for SAP related changes, system settings adhering to CF security policies including password settings, single sign-on, secure communication protocols, SSL and related certificates.o Configure cross-system integrations by defining RFC and HTTP/S connections between systems, including SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Web Dispatcher and SAP SLT for data replication.o Ensure SAP system architecture is solid and functional based on CF Industries' requirements and determine metrics to measure the performance of said system and address any lags.

* Identify process improvement opportunities within the team and CF IT in general.

* On-Call support outside business hours as needed.

* Diagnose and troubleshoot system errors, perform root cause analysis and identify long term solutions to avoid the problems altogether as well as coordinate the implementation of said solutions. Apply in-depth knowledge of the operation of SAP ABAP based systems including parameter configuration, transaction codes and interpretation of data within the system(s), knowledge of embedded Fiori approach and Fiori Launchpad configuration via SAP Web Dispatcher with Single Sign-On and the required SICF and OData services to be activated for Fiori applications and the process to do that; apply expertise in the SAP Business Technology Platform with services including GRDC, CPI, SAP IdP and Secure Login Service. Apply understanding SAP architecture in a hyperscaler Microsoft Azure including the use of an SAP Cloud Connector to establish connectivity between on-premise systems and SAP or 3rd party external cloud services.

* Plan and coordinate new implementations based on requirements. Apply understanding of PMO concepts and knowledge on using standard tools including MS Project, Excel, Teams and SharePoint.

* Maintain above skills with the ever changing and evolving SAP.

Job Description:

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:Applicant's experience must include:Understanding on the operation of S/4HANA systems, including:

HANA database architecture and operation.Fiori Apps and Launchpad architecture, setup and use.Basic understanding of ABAP programming and SAP Change Management.

Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform, the services provided in it and how to activate and configure them (including CPI, GRDC, SAP Secure Login Service, or IdP).Understanding of the setup and operation of SAP Solution Manager system for technical monitoring and alerting in SAP landscape and its use for change management and SAP transport control via SAP ChaRM.Serving as subject matter expert in overall SAP systems architecture, responsible for determining the design and coordinating changes to it based on new requirements.Understanding of Data and Analytics concepts and SAP supporting tools for it (SAP SLT, SAP BODS, SAP HANA).Telecommuting is permitted, upon managerial approval, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.Minimum education and experience requirements:Applicant must have Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, related field or equivalent and 10 years of experience in the job offered, related occupation or relevant work experience.Additional:Location: Northbrook, IllinoisTimeframe: Full-timeThis posting is subject to the employee referral program.CF Industries is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
