Penta has offices in New York, London, Washington, DC, San Francisco, Vail, Dublin, Brussels, Singapore, and Hong Kong.We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Quantitative Research to lead our Quantitative Research team.As a Director of Quantitative Research, you'll lead a small team responsible for delivering a substantial impact for our clients and across our broader organization. Using your expertise in statistical analysis, survey-based research methods, and telling stories with data, you will directly enable a critical understanding of the policy-making landscape. These insights derived from your research, when shared with our clients, will significantly shape their communications strategies and help ensure their successful engagement with this vital group of stakeholders.This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced researcher to join a collaborative team and utilize their creativity, alongside their entrepreneurial drive, to define the future of our quantitative research practice and become our go-to subject matter expert as our organization continues to scale.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage quantitative research projects from conception to completion.Utilize statistical software (R and STATA) to structure, clean, and analyze data.Design, implement, and manage online surveys using platforms such as Qualtrics.Conduct polling and benchmarking studies, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.Apply statistical techniques for data weighting to ensure representative results.Develop and implement systems and processes for quality control in research projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand research needs and deliver actionable insights.Stay up to date with the latest research methodologies, statistical techniques, and industry trends.Oversee the development and performance of staff.Qualifications:Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in a relevant field such as Statistics, Economics, or Data Science.5-8+ years of experience working in a research-oriented position within industry, or an academic setting, with direct people management responsibilities.Extensive experience with statistical software and proficiency with online survey platforms.Strong analytical skills and experience in conducting polling and/or benchmarking data.Familiarity with statistical techniques for data weighting and ensuring data quality.Demonstrated experience in setting up and managing systems and processes for quality control.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings clearly and concisely.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Experience managing and developing staff.A background using both R and STATA is preferred.Familiarity with Qualtrics is a plus.Location:

This position is for US-based personnel and will be hybrid, preference will be given to applicants in the Washington, DC metro area who can be in-person in-office three days per week.Salary Range:
