At Medallia, we hire the whole person.The Role and TeamThe Enterprise Applications & Analytics team is part of corporate IT and is responsible for supporting, developing, managing, and enhancing the set of enterprise applications which make up the platform that delivers Medallia's business processes. The group focuses on engagement with the lines of business to evolve and scale solutions to best fit Medallia's business needs. In addition, the group focuses on design, development, and deployment of an enterprise decision support system to provide enhanced reporting and analytics capabilities.Our team's Top Priorities include:Optimize Medallia's business processesProvide an accurate single source of truth for timely decision supportSimplify the landscape for support efficiencyDesign, plan, and deliver quality new solutions, cost-effectivelyWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Workday Technical Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Workday solutions within our organization. You will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure our Workday platform meets business requirements and enhances operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesLead the technical implementation of Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, Finance, and other integrated systems.Configure and customize Workday functionality based on business needs and best practices.Design and develop Workday integrations using EIBs, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday Studio while also extending functionalities.Implement and manage security protocols to protect sensitive employee information. Ensure the HRIS complies with data privacy regulations and policies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to gather requirements, prioritize requested improvements, analyze workflows, and identify opportunities for process improvements.Develop and execute test plans to ensure system integrity and data accuracy.Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Workday configurations and integrations.Stay current with Workday updates, new features, and industry trends to propose enhancements and optimize system performance.Create technical documentation and training materials for end-users and stakeholders.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.7 years of Workday HRIS experience, specialized in HCM and reporting in a technical capacity.5 years of experience with Workday configuration, customization, and building integrations using Studio, Core Connectors, and web services.Preferred QualificationsHands-on experience with Workday HCM, Financial Management, LMS, Security Management, and other modules.Proficiency in Workday integration tools such as EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday Studio.Good understanding of HR Business Processes and Designs.Reporting skills to build custom reports in native Workday and People Analytics module.Experience in building integrations with HR-related applications such as ICIMS, ADP, Concur, Paylocity, Fidelity, Crescent, and other Health benefits applications.Experience in maintaining integrations with IT-related applications such as Snowflake, Tableau, NetSuite, Salesforce, Adobe Workfront, and Okta.Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $215,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors.Medallia also offers competitive health and wellness benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, 401(k), short-term and long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance, statutory leaves, paid parental leave, and paid holidays.
