This person will be responsible for creating and overseeing the product roadmap for all marketing systems. The Director of Product Management will document and convey the strategic roadmap for the marketing systems, meeting with stakeholders to understand and document their needs, and then building the product roadmap accordingly. The successful candidate will have in-depth experience creating and managing Marketing Requirements Documentation (MRD) and Product Requirements Documentation (PRD), and leveraging these artifacts to support buy-in from stakeholders and give appropriate direction to the engineering teams. Finally, this person must have experience implementing and managing work intake processes to protect the product roadmap while also meeting the needs of their stakeholders.This role requires strong technical and product management experience and excellent communication skills.A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESStakeholder management with appropriate documentation and intake/change control processesBuild and maintain product roadmapRegularly present and review product roadmap with stakeholders to confirm buy-in and changesCollaborate with users, stakeholders, and leadership to understand needs and translate them into Marketing Requirements Documentation and Product Requirements DocumentationManage and prioritize the product backlog and roadmap based on changing requirements and business needsPrioritize features based on various teams' capabilities and availability and communicate the reasoning for shifting features to the stakeholdersWHAT YOU WILL NEEDTechnical Product Management experienceExperience writing Product Requirements and Marketing RequirementsExperience writing user storiesExperience as a Business Analyst or Product OwnerExperience working in a Waterfall environment including defining and documenting product requirementsUnderstanding of Agile methodologies and how to work with Agile teamsExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsComfortable working in an execution-focused, fast-paced environment balancing multiple projects, short-term goals, and long-term visionSolution-oriented, highly motivated, and proactive self-starterExperience working with CRM or customer engagement platforms like Braze or Salesforce Marketing CloudCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITSPursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $161,500.00-205,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
