Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantitative analysis, software development, and a deep understanding of financial markets. You will work closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and other developers to design, implement, and maintain complex financial models and trading systems.Key Responsibilities:Model Development:
Collaborate with quantitative researchers to develop, test, and deploy quantitative models used in trading strategies.System Design:
Design and implement robust, scalable systems that support high-frequency trading, portfolio management, and risk analysis.Optimization:
Optimize algorithms and systems for performance, scalability, and accuracy.Data Integration:
Work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights and incorporate them into trading models.Collaboration:
Partner with traders and researchers to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.Maintenance:
Ensure the reliability and efficiency of existing systems through regular updates, debugging, and performance tuning.Innovation:
Stay ahead of industry trends by researching and implementing new technologies and methodologies.Qualifications:Education:
Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.Experience:
5+ years of experience as a quantitative developer or software engineer in a financial services firm, preferably within a hedge fund or trading firm.Proven experience with quantitative modeling and algorithm development.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.Experience with data analysis and statistical software (e.g., R, MATLAB).Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.Familiarity with cloud computing and distributed systems.
Financial Knowledge:
Deep understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading strategies.Experience with derivatives, fixed income, or equities is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and innovatively.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
