$100,700-134,300Multiple factors, including individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.Category/Shift:Physical Location:The Job You Will Perform:Direct, manage, and oversee day-to-day plant operations with overall responsibility for safety, production, quality, maintenance, and the financial performance of the business (P&L responsibility).Responsible for the safety of all plant team members and contractors; including setting the vision and expectations, the implementation of corporate and business safety initiatives, the adherence to company safety expectations, and the development, execution and monitoring of plant specific safety plans and results.Manage commercial sales development and execution through modern processes optimizing utilization of two Recycling Sales Reps whose primary role consists of selling plant recycling services to new and existing customers.Develop a thorough understanding of the local Recycling market and develop a commercial go to market plan based upon IP’s Market Based Value Creation program.Responsible for the plant’s staffing, operational efficiency, maintenance and cost control measures.Effectively communicate operating plans, performance goals and expectations to plant team members.Support the business mission and vision by modeling desired behaviors, communicating and reinforcing key messages through daily activities and interactions.Responsible for leading and directing the development, training, and performance of plant team members.Accountable for effective management of human resources and physical plant assets.Accountable for capital project planning and implementation of approved projects.The Skills You Will Bring:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience (preferred).Management experience; ability to influence and lead all levels of an organization.High ethical standards.Experience in managing the P&L of a business unit.Proven commitment to safety and safety processes.Ability to utilize workflow and process reliability to implement process improvements.Manufacturing supervision experience (preferred).Knowledge and experience managing a fiber recycling facility (preferred).Ability to relocate for future career growth opportunities (Relocation is available for this position).Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.Building Effective Teams.Customer Focus.Directing Others.Integrity and Trust.Motivating Others.Problem Solving.Business Acumen.Developing Direct Reports.Drive for Results.Managerial Courage.Priority Setting.The Benefits You Will Enjoy:International Paper offers a benefits package that includes health, welfare and retirement plans including Medical, Dental, Life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, Short-term and Long-term Disability, 401(k), Company-funded retirement contributions, Paid Time Off, Education & Development (including Tuition Reimbursement), Student Loan Repayment Assistance, and Voluntary Benefits including insurance for home, auto, vision and pets.The Career You Will Build:Sales and Leadership training, promotional opportunities within a global company.The Impact You Will Make:We continue to build a better future for people, the planet, and our company!
