To achieve this, we require a robust content serving platform that enables seamless configuration of clinical data, protocols, schedules, and plan definitions for both clinical studies and care programs. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in developing systems that support content management and localization as used by users in our Enterprise suite of applications. Your work will directly impact the experience of Patients and Participants enrolled in our programs, ensuring they engage with clear, actionable and timely information in their preferred languages.As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you'll be instrumental in shaping the scope and direction of our technical initiatives. Tackle exciting challenges head-on, overseeing the development life cycle and ensuring seamless execution. Your leadership will drive innovation, foster collaboration and deliver impactful solutions.ResponsibilitiesCoach, mentor, and develop a team of engineering managers, enabling them to excel in their roles.Define clear technical strategies and roadmaps for the sub-teams, ensuring alignment with the overall organizational goals.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.Collaborate cross-functionally to define and execute on the team's strategic goals.Drive the execution of large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.10+ years of experience in software development plus 5+ years of experience managing and leading teams of engineers. 2+ years of experience managing managers and Sr. ICs. Strong agile mindset and practitioners view (healthcare industry experience is a plus).Demonstrated success in delivering complex software projects.Proven experience managing software engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.Experience managing organizations of 25+ engineers is a plus.Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.Experience with Agile development methodologies.Education or exposure to healthcare or life sciences, with emphasis on HL7 FHIR.Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as GCP or AWS.Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).Proven track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $217,000 - $289,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
