Docusign is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Core Service Infrastructure team in San Francisco or Seattle. As a member of this team, you will work across our eSignature platform building next generation software and services. The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with their product and engineering partners. You will be responsible for solving difficult problems related to product features, performance, speed, scale, security and accessibility. You will help the team succeed by thinking outside the box, suggesting opportunities for improvement, and modeling engineering best practices.This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Engineering.Responsibilities

Write high quality code that is easy to maintain and testArchitect, implement and maintain services, define and ensure SLOsWork with world class telemetry systems and make data informed decisionsThink through how systems will scale and fail as they grow, and ensure observabilityCollaborate with fellow engineers on designs and code reviewsTake complicated problems and break them down into bite sized piecesProactively identify and raise issues that may impact delivery commitmentsTroubleshoot and fix production issues, and maintain the codebaseJob Designation

Hybrid:

Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. BasicBA/BS degree or equivalent work experience5+ years industry experience in Software EngineeringExperience with C#, other object oriented programming languagesExperience with SQL, NoSQL, or CosmosDBExperience with public cloud (Azure or AWS), Kubernetes and micro servicesExperience with git, continuous integration and deployment toolsPreferredExperience with Microsoft technology stack (C#, .NET), XML, JSON, NoSQL DatabasesExperience with KQL, PromQL, SQL, or similar query languages to gain insightsKnowledge and experience in high scale, highly available (99.99+) systemsExperience shipping highly available, scalable services on AzureCuriosity and ability to learn new technologies and tool setsAbility to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environmentExcellent problem solving skillsWage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:California: $134,900.00 - $216,975.00 base salaryIllinois and Colorado: $129,000.00 - $182,250.00 base salaryWashington and New York (including NYC metro area): $129,000.00 - $190,550.00 base salaryWashington DC: $134,900.00 - $190,550.00 base salaryThis role is also eligible for bonus, equity and
