If you're passionate about automotive software testing, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply now!ResponsibilitiesDevelop test plans, test cases, and QA documents based on embedded software requirementsManage and optimize HiL platforms for comprehensive automated testingExecute regression tests within the automated environment on a daily basisDrive automation for test cases and processesEstablish and refine QA processes and automated pipelinesCreate and enhance test automation frameworks and scriptsIntegrate and leverage CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins for streamlined software development workflowsContribute to CI/CD pipeline development, enabling efficient software integration, testing, and deploymentCollaborate with software teams, focusing on lab-based bench tests during feature development and validationTrack bugs, ensuring complete verification and closureProvide timely status updates, aiding release readiness decisionsPartner cross-functionally to resolve support/field issues effectivelyDevelop and maintain HiL testing frameworks, ensuring scalability and reliabilityImplement improvements and upgrades to existing HiL platforms for optimal performance and efficiencyQualifications5+ years of Embedded/Platform Software testing experienceStrong expertise in scripting and programming, especially PythonProficiency in Linux or QNX environmentsSkilled in Shell Scripting (Bash, etc.)Knowledge of Socket Programming, TCP/IP, and HTTPExperience in testing automotive ECUs and protocols like CAN and EthernetBoard-level testing proficiencyExperience with CD/CD tools such as GitLab and JenkinsSelf-motivated with cross-functional collaboration skillsAdaptability to dynamic development and accelerated hardware production timelinesExcellent communication, testing, and troubleshooting abilitiesBachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or Computer EngineeringPay DisclosureSalary Range for California Based Applicants: [$132,000.00 - $165,000.00] (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26.
