This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.Position Summary:The Digital Ordering Director is a critical member of the Sales Operations team. This position creates and executes the vision for the company’s digital ordering initiatives. The Digital Ordering Director is the primary product owner and oversees the development and enhancement of digital ordering capabilities, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial goals and operational efficiency targets. This position collaborates with the Technology teams to drive a comprehensive multi-year rollout plan, focused on the integration of innovative solutions that elevate the customer experience and streamline Retail Operations. The Digital Ordering Director leads the company through the transition to digital ordering while encouraging a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Define and communicate a multi-year vision for digital ordering, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business objectives and the Market of the Future initiative.Lead and mentor a high-performing team dedicated to digital ordering encouraging a culture of innovation and accountability.Develop and deliver regular updates and reports to stakeholders on progress, challenges and successes.Oversee the end-to-end development and implementation of digital ordering capabilities.Serve as the primary point of contact for digital ordering capabilities for the company.Lead end-to-end process strategies that enhance operational efficiency in retail outlets, and identify areas for improvement and areas to implement best practices.Collaborate with senior leaders on the Customer, Operations, and Technology teams to facilitate process changes and drive alignment with strategic goals.Oversee and manage program financial goals to ensure digital ordering initiatives deliver expected financial outcomes and contribute to overall business growth.Lead cross-functional change management activities for transitioning the company to a digital ordering model.Ensure stakeholder buy-in of the transition to a digital ordering model.Ensure effective communication of the transition to a digital ordering model to all levels of the company.Other projects or duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline, 10 plus years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry and 6 plus years of people leadership experience or HS Diploma/GED, 13 plus years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry and 7 plus years of people leadership experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of an organization.Excellent analytical skills.Strategic thinker and forward-looking mindset.Results oriented mindset.Strong problem-solving skills.Strong organizational skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.Travel up to 25%, at least three days per month in the trade/field.This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.Preferred Skills and Experience:Experience in a Food and/or beverage distribution and/or manufacturing environment.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
