The Business Development Manager will develop and implement a sales plan for Refinish market segments and marketing programs of a USA region to meet growth and profit objectives. Travel will be up to 60% and will cover the San Francisco/Northern CA area.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Management - Mentor, organize and develop a regional team that can meet growth and profit plans.Business Plan - Ensure the annual development of a regional business plan to meet department business objectives.Budget Development - Implement budget process and manage controllable expenses to budget.Develop Distribution - Identify by criteria top distribution; sell and service Distributors, and direct accounts.Growth Market Segments - Support and develop commercial coatings business.Development and cross-SBU opportunities to support growth and profit objectives.Program Support - Develop personnel to sell value-added services to increase product sales and promote customer loyalty.Policy Compliance - Ensure all business activities conform to PPG's business conduct, quality, EH&S, and EEO policies to preserve PPG's image and ethical standards.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDBachelor's Degree or Minimum 8 years combination of General Sales and Sales Management experience with knowledge of secondary distribution and selling into secondary distribution.Experience and understanding of Refinish marketplace.Salary Range
