Our future is even more exciting. We’re leading the way in multiple community and commercial projects, including Solar Microgrids, Group Buying Solar Co-Ops, Agrivoltaic innovations, and of course, residential. With a mission to “Increase the deployment of solar energy in our community to promote energy independence and self-sufficiency,” we’re growing in terms of employee base, number, complexity, scope and size of projects, external recognition, and a lot of other things that mark a high-performing team. It’s a lot to keep up with! Ian’s five year goal was to be known as the best solar company in the nation. That’s where you could come in.
Our Marketing Coordinator will ensure that our brand is visible and growing. That means this position will write and edit all kinds of content, including blogs, social media posts,verbiage for our website, and other marketing materials such as Trade Show and Career Fair booths. In addition, this role will project manage the work done by others as that impacts marketing - PR, graphics, and the technical part of website development. The project management and coordination of the work of others is why we could see this position growing into a Marketing Manager role as we grow.
We are looking for a take charge Marketing Coordinator who:
Possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a directly related field
Has at least two (2) years of Marketing experience, preferably in a construction-related company, ideally in renewable energy
Has polished and demonstrable skills in written communication, with the ability to make complex information simple to understand and enticing
Excels in teamwork, inspiration, and influence with or without line authority
Is organized, managing time efficiently while being unphased by multiple tasks coming from multiple sources with potential conflicting priorities and deadlines
Consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
Will represent us with the professionalism and customer service we’re known for.

Lack initiative, drive, and a sense of urgency to be directly involved in Sandbox’s growth
Avoid problems or want to be left alone and uninvolved
Drop the ball, or are ok with others doing so
Create or experience a lot of drama
Allow their ego to get in everyone else’s way
Wing it - not thinking of the consequences of their actions on others
